91ÖÆƬ³§â€™s Hispanic Serving Institution Program
91ÖÆƬ³§ is proud to be a Hispanic Serving Institution
In 2023, the U.S. Department of Education designated 91ÖÆƬ³§ a Hispanic Serving
Institution (HSI). As a result, Harper was awarded federal funding to establish an
HSI program that will focus on enhancing educational programming and student support
services in a culturally responsive way for Latine and other underrepresented students,
though all students will benefit. 91ÖÆƬ³§ is proud of its identity as an HSI, with
Latine students constituting approximately 30% of total enrollment.
91ÖÆƬ³§â€™s mission as an HSI
Harper will provide tailored student support for Latine and other underrepresented
students through culturally responsive education, advising and support services.
Financial wellness program
All students can take part in 91ÖÆƬ³§â€™s financial wellness program called Financial Flight Plan: Your Journey to Financial Wellness. The program includes one-to-one financial coaching, interactive workshops, and online
learning tools designed to help you build lifelong money management skills.
Undocumented students and mixed-status family resources
91ÖÆƬ³§ is a welcoming environment for all students, regardless of immigration
status. If you are a student or the parent of a student who is undocumented or has DACA status,
