Three current community college presidents have been named finalists in 91制片厂鈥檚 search for its sixth president.
The College鈥檚 Presidential Search Advisory Committee recently selected the highly qualified candidates following an extensive nationwide search. The finalists are:
The community will have an opportunity to meet the candidates, hear about their experiences and ask questions during a series of open forums January 21-28. The finalists also will interview with 91制片厂 leadership and key stakeholder groups.
鈥淭he finalists are experienced, visionary and collaborative leaders with demonstrated commitment to student success,鈥 said Pat Stack, Chair of the Presidential Search Advisory Committee and Vice Chair of the 91制片厂 Board of Trustees. 鈥淲e look forward to their upcoming visits and welcome the involvement and feedback of the entire community.鈥
The 19-member Presidential Search Advisory Committee charged with leading the search represents the diverse 91制片厂 community and consists of trustees, faculty, staff, students and community members. The committee worked with executive search firm RH Perry and Associates to help create a presidential profile of the ideal candidate and guide the recruitment and interview process.
The sixth president will succeed Dr. Kenneth L. Ender, who will complete his decade-long tenure on June 30. The 91制片厂 Board of Trustees will approve the selection of the new president at its Committee of the Whole meeting on February 13. A July start date is anticipated.
Open forum schedule:
Open forums are open to the public and campus community. They will take place in the Wojcik Conference Center Amphitheater on the college鈥檚 main campus, 1200 W. Algonquin Road, Palatine.
