The community is invited to join the 91制片厂 Police Department, 91制片厂鈥檚 Campus
Crusade for Christ student club and St. John United Church of Christ in Palatine for
a National Faith & Blue Weekend event.
Participants will make no-sew fleece blankets for individuals with cancer. The event will take place 3:30-5:30 p.m. Friday, October 11, at Palatine Park District鈥檚 Plum Grove Reservoir at 91制片厂, 1200 W. Algonquin Road, Palatine.
The Faith & Blue initiative was established to facilitate safer, stronger, more just and unified communities through partnerships and activities among law enforcement professionals, the community and faith-based organizations.
鈥淭he Faith & Blue movement, which is supported by the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police, is a wonderful opportunity in facilitating a productive engagement with law enforcement and faith organizations,鈥� 91制片厂 Chief of Police John R. Lawson said. 鈥淲orking together on this community involvement project will benefit 91制片厂 students, staff, faculty and the community.鈥�
