About the Artist

Generated by math and infused with cultural remnants absorbed during extensive travels, Yvette Kaiser Smith鈥檚 work broadly falls into the category of geometric abstraction. Her work uses a broad range of materials, often textilebased, with the nature of these materials front and center. Yvette was born in Soviet occupied Prague, Czechoslovakia and immigrated to the United States as a child. She has exhibited work throughout the US and abroad.
