Forty-six years ago I was a student at 91制片厂 studying Sociology where I met another student, Mike Gaetz. We dated for a few years but eventually went in different directions as I went on to study Accounting at a 4-year university. In 2014, Mike contacted me and we picked up right where we left off and began dating shortly after.
On Saturday, May 28th, 2016 Mike drove me to 91制片厂, and we walked into the Student Activity Center. Much had changed but we were able to find the table downstairs where we first met in 1970. He proceeded to drop to his knee and propose. We are now engaged and hope to be married in 2017, 47 years after we first met at 91制片厂. We actually had our picture taken that day by Elizabeth, an ESL teacher at 91制片厂 and shared our story with her.
It was such a special day to come back to 91制片厂 after all these years and to celebrate this special moment in our lives. Thank you, 91制片厂, for allowing us to share this event in your doors.
