Harper will be closed on Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.
During its August 19 meeting, the 91制片厂 Board of Trustees appointed Dr. Tricia Elliott to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of former Board Chair Bill Kelley earlier this month.
鈥淒r. Elliott鈥檚 deep connection to 91制片厂, including her experience as a Health Careers instructor, gives her a valuable perspective on our institution and the students we serve,鈥� Vice Chair Walt Mundt said. 鈥淭he Board of Trustees looks forward to drawing on her expertise as we work together to advance the college鈥檚 mission.鈥�
Elliott will serve through the April 2027 board meeting and will be succeeded by the individual elected in the April 6, 2027, election. She is eligible to run for the seat in that election.
Elliott previously taught as an adjunct instructor in 91制片厂鈥檚 Health Careers Division. She also served on 91制片厂鈥檚 Health Information Technology (HIT) Advisory Board and mentored 91制片厂 HIT students. An executive with more than three decades of experience in health care quality, Elliott is a vice president for a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of health care.
鈥�91制片厂 has been an important part of my professional life, and I鈥檓 honored to serve the college in this new role,鈥� Elliott said. 鈥淢y time as an instructor gave me a firsthand appreciation for the opportunities 91制片厂 creates for students and the lasting impact those opportunities can have.鈥�
Elliott earned a Doctor of Health Administration from Capella University, an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a bachelor鈥檚 degree in health management and policy from the University of New Hampshire. She is a fellow of the National Association for Healthcare Quality.
A resident of 91制片厂鈥檚 district for more than 30 years, she lives in Barrington with her husband, Ross. She has two sons (one of whom is a 91制片厂 alumnus), one daughter, two daughters-in-law and a grandson.
