
Bridge classes help students build skills to be successful in college and careers. The program also explores how to pursue employment in a variety of career fields. Students will work on math, reading and language skills focused on a chosen career path. Students may continue working on their HSE/GED goals and/or English language skills. Advising services are offered to guide students through their career pathway program. Bridge classes are free for eligible students.
Coursework will help improve important work skills like critical thinking and time management. Information technology applications, study habits, and resume development will also be explored. Students will share what they learn with the class as they become familiar with the 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ campus and the available student services (financial aid, career center, the library, etc.). Guest speakers from these areas will also visit the classroom.
We offer classes that help students find a path to success in the following fields.
This class familiarizes students with current employment practices and common career pathways. Students will be prepared to pursue a college degree or vocational training.
This class prepares students for success in professional office environments. Students will build key skills in communication, technology, and workplace behavior.
This program prepares students for entry-level healthcare roles. Coursework will help improve English language skills and provide opportunities for career exploration.
Students will be introduced to careers in technology. Coursework will explore artificial intelligence, coding, and cybersecurity. Skills with basic technology, english language arts, and critical thinking will be developed.
This course introduces students to a variety of manufacturing career paths. Students will get a better understanding of industry trends based on job market data. Coursework will also prepare students for finding entry-level employment opportunities.
