In compliance with the "Timely Notice" provisions of the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Police and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998 the 91制片厂 Police are giving notice of acts that could pose as possible threats which have been reported to have occurred on or near the 91制片厂 campuses. Until the investigation of the specific act has been concluded, it can be assumed that conditions continue to exist that may pose a threat to members and guests of the community. It is the duty of 91制片厂 to warn of possible "dangerous conditions" on it property; an affirmative duty" exists to warn of possible peril at the hands of some third party.
If a situation were to occur, either on or off campus, that, in the judgment of the Chief of Police at 91制片厂, is a potential ongoing or continuing threat, a campus wide "timely warning" will be issued. The warning will be issued through the most effective and efficient means available and may include closed circuit television and faculty notifications.
Depending on the circumstances of the crime, especially in all situations that could pose an immediate threat to the community and individuals, the 91制片厂 Police Department may also post a notice on the Harper web site. In such instances a copy of the notice will be posted in common areas throughout the campus.
Anyone with information warranting a timely warning should report the circumstances to the 91制片厂 Police Department, by phone 847.925.6330 or in person at the Dispatch Center within the 91制片厂 Police Department, located in Building D room 281.
