Andrew Levin is an instructor of Political Science and acting Chair of the department. He has a master's in foreign service from Georgetown University where he specialized international commerce in the developing world. He was awarded a fellowship in the Institute for the Study of Diplomacy and interned at the US Chamber of Commerce. In both cases he focused on US-India relations. Currently, he is finishing a doctorate in Education at Northern Illinois University with a focus on the motivational effects of generative Artificial Intelligence on college student motivations and engagement. He is now in his fifteenth year at Harper where he uses his academic knowledge to enliven such courses as American Government and Politics, Middle Eastern Politics, Global Politics, and Comparative Politics.

I was educated at the University of Jordan, Roosevelt University, Northern Illinois University, and Walden University. I have completed my Ph.D. in Public Policy and Government at Walden University, specializing in terrorism, peace mediation, and U.S. foreign policy. I am also an active member of several political science associations, including the Illinois Political Science Association (IPSA), the Midwest Political Science Association (MPSA), and the American Political Science Association (APSA). My research areas of interest include U.S. foreign policy, Middle East and Southeast Asian politics, and International Terrorism. You can find some of my academic work at

I have been teaching at 91制片厂 since Spring 2016, and I have a wealth of experience in political science. I have taught various courses, including Comparative Political Systems, American Politics, Non-Western Government, Middle East Politics, U.S Foreign Policy, and International Relations.
