All safety awareness courses are taught by highly experienced, proven, and trained individuals who have completed advanced training in the areas of occupational safety and health. Our instructors bring extensive and direct work experience to each class, along with various industry-recognized certifications, and in some cases, OSHA-authorized outreach trainers.
Tami Gilbert is a workplace safety trainer/consultant and is an OSHA-authorized trainer for OSHA 10-hour and OSHA 30-hour for General and Construction Industries. She also consults with many Illinois companies on preventing workplace accidents and injuries. Tami is a registered nurse and holds MSN and MBA degrees.
Robin Coyne is a certified industrial hygienist and a health and safety consultant authorized to provide OSHA Outreach Training. Robin has extensive real-world health and safety experience, having led safety programs in a variety of industries including chemicals, warehousing, metal fabrication, printing and woodworking. Robin is a member of the National Academy of Science, Engineering and Medicine. She holds a BS in biomedical engineering and an MBA.
Jorge Pati帽o (*Espa帽ol abajo)
Jorge Pati帽o is a safety and transportation professional with extensive experience in occupational safety, transit operations, and workforce training. He is an OSHA-authorized instructor in both General Industry and Construction and specializes in delivering practical, compliance-based training, including OSHA 10- and 30-hour courses, fall protection, confined space, powered industrial trucks, and emergency response.
Jorge currently works in leadership and training roles within a major public transit system in Chicago, where he supports safety inspections, incident investigations, regulatory compliance, and employee development. He also brings private-sector experience from the trucking and transportation industry, having served as a safety manager, CDL instructor, and training consultant. His teaching style emphasizes real-world application, clear regulatory guidance, and building strong, sustainable safety cultures.

Monica Le贸n Montoya is an experienced safety professional and OSHA Outreach Instructor with over a decade of experience in environmental, health, and safety (EHS) across construction, manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, and industrial sectors in the U.S. and Latin America. She holds a Master of Science in Occupational Safety and Environmental Management and is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
Monica is an OSHA-authorized trainer in General Industry and Construction, specializing in hazard recognition, regulatory compliance, and injury prevention. She currently delivers OSHA-authorized training for private clients and through local community colleges, bringing real-world expertise and a learner-centered approach to every class.
