As of June 30, 2022, the Student Emergency Aid Grant Application is closed. All funding has been awarded and 91制片厂 is no longer accepting applications.
Since the Emergency Declaration for the COVID-19 pandemic was proclaimed in March 2020, the U.S. Department of Education provided Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) grants to higher education institutions to address the immediate and urgent impacts of the pandemic on students and academic institutions.
The intent of these funds was to provide direct support to 91制片厂 students impacted by coronavirus through emergency financial aid grants. The HEERF funding also supported 91制片厂鈥檚 institutional expenses related to the prevention, preparation, and response to coronavirus and the rapid transition to distance education. 91制片厂 understands the importance of this extra financial assistance available for students during the pandemic and the responsibility to ensure the campus is a safe and healthful environment.
In April 2020, 91制片厂 received $5,526,516 from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act 鈥� Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF I). This included a minimum of $2,763,258 for student financial aid grants; however, 91制片厂 distributed $3.4 million to eligible students. All HEERF I funding has been expended.
In March 2021, 91制片厂 received $12,582,067 from the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2021 (CRRSAA), also called HEERF II. A minimum of $2,763,258 was required to be provided directly to eligible students as financial aid grants. However, 91制片厂 allocated $6.3 million dollars for student emergency financial aid grants.
In May and June 2021, 91制片厂 received a total of $22,332,991 from the American Rescue Plan Act, 2021 (ARP), also called HEERF III. This included $11,254,216 for student emergency financial aid grants and $11,078,775 for institutional costs. Recognizing the financial impacts the pandemic had on students, 91制片厂 allocated a total of $21 million for student emergency financial aid grants using the different HEERF awards.
