This vending machine, funded by the Kenneth Young Center and supported by 91制片厂 Wellness, provides life-saving Naloxone, an opioid overdose reversal medication, at no cost to students, faculty, and staff. The vending machine is located in Building L, across from the Bookstore. Strategically placed in a high-traffic area, the machine ensures that Naloxone is always within reach during critical moments, especially in cases of opioid-related emergencies.
The machine is user-friendly, offering quick access with clear instructions on how to use Naloxone. By providing Naloxone in a discreet, no-questions-asked manner, the vending machine fosters a proactive approach to harm reduction, supporting a safe and responsible campus environment. The Kenneth Young Center is offering free 30-minute Naloxone (NARCAN庐) trainings for all students, faculty, staff, and community members every month. Each session will cover education about commonly used opioids, the signs of an overdose, and how to administer NARCAN庐, with time for Q&A. All participants will receive NARCAN庐 at the end of the training.
